Back in high school, Ali was the first person I ever showed my drawings and comic's to. His kind and inspirational words about my art still give me the strength to keep moving forward today. Thank you so much for everything.
I first met Çağan almost a year ago at a conference and since then he showed me what a beautiful and fun of a field linguistics is. The passion he has for every thing he does inspired me too. I even started learning Esperanto thanks to him! I haven't seen him turn down a chance to help someone including me. We are lucky to have someone like him in the field. I am lucky to be able to call him a friend.
